SharePoint implementation — the central place for documents, procedures and collaboration

SharePoint implementation — the central place for documents, procedures and collaboration

We deploy SharePoint Online as the backbone of your organization in Microsoft 365: document repository, intranet, team sites, governance and migration from legacy network drives. Delivered in 6–12 weeks, tailored to your company's structure.

01

No single source of truth for company documents

02

Employees lose hours every week searching

03

Versioning and history live in heads, not in the system

Customer problem

Company documents are scattered across drives, mailboxes and personal OneDrives

A classic in most companies: one procedure is on drive Z:, another in the CEO's Google Drive, a third attached to an email from a year ago, a fourth in someone's OneDrive. Nobody knows which version is current. New hires don't know where to look. A GDPR audit takes weeks to prepare.

SharePoint in Microsoft 365 gives you one place for every company document — with versioning, permissions, sensitivity labels and a full audit trail. But simply turning on SharePoint doesn't change a thing. You need a project: what architecture, who sees what, how to migrate the old drives, how to teach people to use it. We do this implementation end to end.

What we deliver

What we deliver in the implementation

A SharePoint implementation is a business project, not just a technical one. We deliver a ready-to-use environment, tailored to your organization's structure.

01

Audit of how you work with documents today

Mapping drives, repositories, personal OneDrives and Google Drives. Identifying key documents and company procedures.

02

Information architecture

Structure design: main intranet site, hub sites per division, team sites per team. Naming conventions, taxonomy, metadata.

03

Site and library configuration

SharePoint sites built according to the architecture. Document libraries with metadata, views, custom columns.

04

Migration from drives and other platforms

Moving documents from network drives, Google Drive, Dropbox, older SharePoint versions. Preserving creation and modification dates.

05

Governance and compliance

Per-role permissions, retention policies, sensitivity labels, DLP, audit trails. Full GDPR alignment.

06

Microsoft 365 integrations

Full integration with Outlook (attachments as links), Teams (channels linked to sites), OneDrive, Power Automate (workflows).

07

End-user and admin training

2 sessions × 2h for users (how to use it), 1 session × 4h for admins (how to manage it). Internal materials.

08

30 days of post-launch support

Responses within 24h, structure tweaks, additional training. Folder migrations on demand.

Who this is for

Who this is for

50–500 person companies stuck in document chaos

Organizations where documents are scattered across drives, mailboxes and personal OneDrives.

Companies planning Copilot or AI rollouts

A clean SharePoint is the absolute foundation under Microsoft Copilot. Without it, AI has nothing to work on.

Regulated organizations (GDPR, ISO, NIS2)

Companies requiring audit trails, retention and sensitivity labels — legal, medical, financial, manufacturing.

Growing companies

Organizations outgrowing network drives, needing a scalable document platform for years to come.

Implementation process

SharePoint implementation process in 5 steps

We implement the solution in a structured model that clarifies project stages, integration with the current environment and further development across the organization.

Stage01

Audit and information architecture (2 weeks)

Document inventory, conversations with division leads. Site, taxonomy and metadata design. A design document approved by leadership.

Stage02

Environment configuration (2 weeks)

Building sites, libraries, metadata structures. Configuring permissions, retention policies, sensitivity labels.

Stage03

Document migration (2–4 weeks)

Moving historical documents from drives, Google Drive, Dropbox. Validating dates, permissions, structure.

Stage04

Training and go-live (1 week)

Sessions for users and admins. Internal materials. Production launch with active consultant support.

Stage05

30 days of post-launch support

Structure tweaks, follow-up migrations, training for new hires. After 30 days the organization runs SharePoint on its own.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about SharePoint

How long does a SharePoint implementation take?

Typically 6–12 weeks for a 50–500 person organization, depending on migration scale and architecture complexity. Smaller companies (under 50) usually 4–6 weeks.

Is migration from network drives included?

Yes. We migrate from Z:/U: drives (Windows), Google Drive, Dropbox, older SharePoint, Box. We preserve creation/modification dates and folder structure. Permissions are mapped to SharePoint.

What about employees' OneDrives?

OneDrive stays for personal and work-in-progress documents. Company-wide documents (procedures, templates, shared) migrate to SharePoint. The boundary is clear and communicated in training.

Is SharePoint ready for Copilot afterwards?

After our implementation — yes. A clean taxonomy, metadata and sensitivity labels are the absolute foundation under Copilot. Without them, AI has nothing to work on or, worse, shows employees documents they shouldn't see.

Are trainings part of the package?

Yes. 2 sessions × 2h for users (sites, libraries, search) and 1 session × 4h for administrators (permissions, policies, migrations).

What about GDPR and compliance?

We configure SharePoint with GDPR in mind: sensitivity labels for personal data, retention policies, DLP, full auditability. After implementation, a GDPR document audit takes days, not weeks.

What happens after 30 days of support?

Your organization runs SharePoint on its own. We can offer a support retainer for additional sites, migrations and integrations — or leave you with a ready, working environment.

In-depth analysis

SharePoint implementation — what to know

SharePoint Online is a document and collaboration platform used by more than 200,000 organizations worldwide, part of Microsoft 365. In companies it most often replaces Z:/U: network drives, Google Drive or Dropbox as the central document repository. A good SharePoint implementation turns the chaos of several platforms into one structured system with versioning, auditability and GDPR alignment.

A SharePoint implementation is not just enabling a service in M365. It is a business project: a document audit, information architecture (which sites, taxonomy, metadata), permissions, retention policies, sensitivity labels, migrating historical documents, integrating with Outlook and Teams, and training. Without these elements SharePoint quickly turns into yet another network drive in the cloud.

SharePoint delivers the biggest impact in 50–500 person organizations on Microsoft 365, in regulated companies (GDPR, ISO, NIS2) and in organizations preparing a Microsoft Copilot rollout. A clean SharePoint is the absolute foundation for AI at work — without it, Copilot has nothing to work on.
